On February 19, 2023, the Teatro alla Scala opened its doors for an event of extraordinary importance for Italian culture:
Paolo Conte gave a concert with his ensemble in the Milan Opera Temple.
For the first time ever, the opera house granted a performance to a non-classical musician – a recognition of the iconic status that Paolo Conte has achieved. The sold-out concert caused heated discussions in the Italian cultural scene in the run-up to the concert.

This extraordinary concert has become a documentary, with footage showing the preparation of the show, the rehearsals, the arrival of Paolo Conte at the theater, snapshots of the soundcheck, as well as the backstage. In addition, Paolo Conte tells us his story and talks about his very special relationship with music.
