Demosthenes and Nikitas are best friends, actors and screenwriters.
Nikitas is fed up with only being considered for stereotypical queer roles. He would rather direct his own first movie. While the two friends enjoy the hot Greek summer sun on a lively queer beach, they develop a script based on the dramatic events of their last summer. Striving to turn real events into a hero's journey, the two challenge the rules of screenwriting theory as they turn a new page in their long-standing friendship.
