The Killian Duo plays the viola da gamba sonata by J.S. Bach, a romance by Max Bruch and the E flat major sonata by Johannes Brahms.For many years, the two sisters Roswitha Killian and Angela Killian have played together in viola/piano and have given highly acclaimed concerts throughout Europe. For the concert in Sent on 2nd Christmas Day, the "Festive Sounding Melodies" by Bach, Bruch and Brahms can be heard. Deeply felt by Bach in the Baroque period, strongly developed in Bruch's romance, and finally resonating above everything in Brahms's sonata: the melody takes predominance and becomes a whole with harmony and rhythm.
