vocalsTommaso Starace and Tara Minton bring a refreshing mix of classical and jazz to Sent.

At the beginning of the 20th century, composers such as Maurice Ravel, Claude Debussy and Erik Satie explored musical harmony with new scales such as pentatonics. Compositions such as Ravel's Piano Concerto in G major fused traditional classical music with jazz harmonies and syncopated rhythms. And composers like Bela Bartok explored the folk music tradition.

Just as some classical music composers developed a more direct relationship with jazz, the same happened in jazz music, where composers like Bill Evans orchestrated the music with impressionist elements that they adopted from Debussy and Ravel.

Tommaso Starace and Tara Minton merge the two worlds by mixing music by Bach, the "father" of Western music, Ravel and Debussy with the repertoire from the "American Songbook".
