doodah meets Art Vol. 7 is an exhibition tour with 6 stops, 26 artists,
50 skate decks and 8 snowboards.
With a focus on comics as an art form, the Fumetto Festival in Lucerne has developed into an internationally renowned art event over the years. Spread over nine exhibition days, the festival offers a platform for both well-known and up-and-coming artists at various locations throughout the city.
Under the motto "doodah meets Art", we have also been part of the Fumetto Comic Festival since 2016. We make skate decks and snowboards available to creatives from various fields for free design. The works are exhibited at doodah Lucerne during the Fumetto Comic Festival and presented to the public.
Professional graphic artists,
tattoo artists, art students, DJs and filmmakers have already tried their hand at designing skateboard and snowboard graphics.
In order to offer the participating artists a larger platform, we decided in 2019 to expand the exhibition into a tour with stops in various cities. In addition to Lucerne, the decks have since been exhibited in Basel, Bern, Laax, Sent, St. Gallen and Zurich.
