Engadin Cycle Marathon

The race leads from Zernez, the gateway to the National Park, by racing bike over up to five dream passes. The first kilometres in the early morning hours towards the Ofen Pass provide a foretaste of the day's programme. After a detour to Livigno in Italy, the Forcola di Livigno and Bernina Pass follow in a double pack, before the race heads towards the finish for the first time after 97 kilometres and 1367 metres in altitude. Perfect to enjoy the full fascination of the cycling marathon without sitting in the saddle all day. The pros add the classics Flüela Pass and Albula Pass to the race and thus collect a record-breaking 3889 metres in altitude over 214 kilometres - and unforgettable memories. In Zernez, the Engadin Cycling Marathon will be accompanied by a large programme of events and festivities - and on the day before, the streets will be the domain of the youngsters. Tomorrow's pros will get their first taste of a cycling marathon in the children's race.
