Description

Just at the bus stop in Brail, the trail leads uphill, where you walk right through beautiful meadows to the junction to Alp Barlas-ch on Via Engadina. Now follows the ascent up the beautiful Alpsträsschen to Alp Barlas-ch, which invites you to a first break.

During the break, you can enjoy the panoramic view towards the Upper Engadine and to the opposite side of the valley. From now on, the path goes over a meadow to the first tobel. Then follows a short but very steep descent towards Alp Pülschezza, before the little-walked path continues along the slope through the clear forest to the junction to Brail at about 2,000 meters.

Now the path slowly rises again into the Val Plushezza. Here you step out of the forest and hike further from valley to valley and do not cross any smaller mountain streams. First to the Val d'Urezza, then Vallanzun via Val Schiva. From here begins the partly quite steep descent, which leads again shortly before Alp Munt through the forest, and down to Zernez.
