Description

Our start is in the parking lot in Vna, where the bus stop is located. We follow the path towards Alp Discholas. The alpine trail leads through the Arven and Larch Forest. After a steep ascent we reach the Alp Discholas. Now the mountain panorama of the Lower Engadine Dolomites opens up on the southeast side. We are still waiting for another 500hm with a challenging ascent character until we reach the summit ridge. This section is well-feasible for mountaineering runners. After a distance of less than 7km we reach the summit of Piz Arina, where you have to linger and enjoy the all-round view. After the break we can look forward to one. At kilometer 9 we are at 2100m and turn left towards Vna. The trail becomes more relaxed. In this section it should be noted that there are herds of suckler cows from which one should refrain. The last narrow kilometer we can roll the road back into the village.
