In the holiday region of Engadine Scuol Samnaun Val Müstair nature and culture go hand in hand. From sun-blessed Val Müstair, via the Lower Engadine, with its wealth of tradition and typical Engadine villages, to the mountain village of Samnaun that connects to the Silvretta Arena – the region unites three different cultures. This is noticeable, among other things, in the local gastronomy and the typical local products and specialities. Besides Tarasp Castle, cultural highlights include various local museums in all three valleys: the hand-weaving workshop Manufactura Tessanda and the 14/18 Museum in Sta. Maria, the Stamparia printing museum in Strada, the Alpine Mill in Ftan, the Silver Mines and Bear Museum in S-charl, and the Convent of St John UNESCO World Heritage Site in Müstair.
