Description

Il giardin da l'En - The Romansh name of the Engadine is derived from "Garden of the Inn". On the last few kilometres before the national border, this garden is particularly fertile, green and rich in species and intact. The Senda dal Magliavirüclas, or Wart-Biter Path in English, leads through flower-filled meadows and pastures on the terraced landscape of Tschlin and is marked with blue signs. With its wealth of breeding birds, butterflies and other animal species, the slopes around Tschlin are a jewel of biodiversity. The family-friendly Wart-Biter Path is a playful way to observe the surroundings and provides interesting information about the natural and cultural landscape of the Lower Engadine at information and adventure stations. The theme trail from Tschlin to Strada takes about two hours. Both villages can easily be reached by PostBus.

Geheimtipp

The theme trail is particularly recommended in spring (approx. end of May), when the meadows are in full bloom.
