Modern comfort in a historic building! The charmingly converted 1-room flat in the former mill of the Engadine mountain village of Ardez is unrivalled. About 10 minutes' walk from the village centre of Ardez, the house is detached and in absolute peace and quiet. Enjoy your best time of the year - your holidays in Ardez, a typical Engadine village, surrounded by houses decorated with sgraffiti, the Swiss National Park and a skiing, family and hiking offer that is second to none. There is also a 4.5-room holiday flat and a 1.5-room holiday flat in the same house. The three flats can also be rented together, an ideal option for larger families and multi-generational holidays. The owner lives in the 4th flat.


The almost 25m2 studio is on the ground floor of the former Ardez mill and was simply and modernly renovated in 2021. The flat is suitable for 1-2 persons. The house is in a very quiet location just outside the village on the little road to the picturesque Ardez-Sur-En, the main filming location in the Schellenursli film, which is only inhabited in summer. There is a fountain with fresh Engadine water right outside the front door. Shopping facilities and the post office are located in the village centre (approx. 800m away). Salsiz, Landjäger or Natura Beef meat can be purchased directly from the nearby Naturhof Campell.


Ardez railway station is 650 metres away and can be reached on foot in approx. 10 minutes. The Motta Naluns ski area can be reached in 5 minutes by car via Ftan and in 10 minutes by train via Scuol. Ardez has a night-time cross-country ski trail, which can be reached on foot in approx. 15 minutes. The neighbouring village of Ftan also has the 8.5 km long Dario Cologna cross-country ski trail. The access road is regularly cleared in winter, but depending on snowfall and road conditions, snow chains or 4×4 drive may be an advantage. A pick-up service from the train station can be organised.


In summer, the entire Lower Engadine is ideal for beautiful hikes, whether short or long. The hike from Ardez over a suspension bridge to Tarasp and then to Scuol or to Murtera d'Ardez, another film location in the Schellenursli film, is popular. The Swiss National Park is also nearby.
