Ftan is situated on a sunny plateau, away from the hustle and bustle. On the opposite side of the valley, the Lower Engadine Dolomites rise dominantly behind Tarasp Castle and embed the village in the picture-book Alpine landscape. The 400-year-old alpine mill in Ftan tells of the once rich grain culture. The Ftan-Prui chairlift takes you quickly and reliably up the mountain and in winter directly to the Motta Naluns snow sports area. The children's area with magic carpet and ski school makes it easy for beginners to get started in skiing; it is easily accessible on foot or by ski bus. The toboggan run between Prui and Ftan also offers pure snow fun for young and old. The flat, furnished with warm materials and lots of wood, radiates a cosy atmosphere - so you can enjoy your holidays all around!
