Show all 6 images

From the sun-drenched Val Müstair through the wild and vast Val Mora to Lago di San Giacomo di Fraéle, further over Alpisella with a concluding descent to Livigno. Two passes, two lakes, intact nature, and challenging trails characterize the second stage of the E-mountain bike route "Nationalparkregion".
Details
Description
The second stage of the E-mountain bike tour "Nationalparkregion" leads downhill to the entrance of Val Vau. In the first long ascent towards Döss Radond, forest dominates the landscape. The fascinating rock wall with the waterfall as the outlet of Lai da Rims in the south makes the ascent through Val Vau an entertaining and attractive section. From Döss Radond, you are in the very extensive, wild Val Mora and enjoy the relaxed onward ride to the eponymous Alp before the subsequent trail to Lago San Giacomo di Fraéle demands full concentration, as there are repeatedly slightly exposed sections on the way. The forces of nature are strongly visible in this region through erosion and the loose ground of certain passages – short carrying sections are possible depending on the path condition. After a loop around the lake and over the dam, the path continues towards Alpisella, the second pass of this route. A break at the pass compensates for the strains of the ascent as well as the subsequent descent to Lago di Livigno.
