Cross-country skiing
Snow trickles from the treetops onto the cross-country ski trail and the majestic mountains of the Lower Engadine rise in the background. Whether on the valley floor, along the Inn, or on the sunny terrace of Ftan, the Lower Engadine is convincing all along the line with over 90 kilometres of cross-country ski trails. You can also change to the PostBus or the Rhaetian Railway at any village in the Engadine.

The Lower Engadine offers a varied network of cross-country ski trails in unspoilt nature at the foot of the Swiss National Park, most of which can be reached quite comfortably by public transport such as the Postbus and the Rhaetian Railway. Whether classic or skating, beginner or ambitious athlete – there is something for everyone.
