This multi-day MTB tour combines the region’s best trails and routes across three stages and also includes a few hidden gems. Pure, alpine trails from the high-altitude Samnaun through the expansive Lower Engadine to the densely wooded Val Müstair.

Three days of trail riding in the Lower Engadine

Rocky high-altitude trails, challenging climbs, flowing descents and secluded valleys – this tour has everything a cyclist could wish for. From Samnaun via spectacular ridge trails and the legendary Fimber Pass to Scuol, continuing up to the panoramic Piz Clünas and finally through wild landscapes to Val Müstair. Technical single tracks, alpine challenges and stunning panoramas make this route a true adventure amidst the Engadin mountains.

Three stages, one trail experience.

Samnaun – Scuol Stage 1

Duration: 8h Distance: 42.6km

Rocky, alpine and offering stunning views: the first stage takes you over the Greitspitze, Fuorcla Val Gronda and the Fimber Pass. Smooth S3 descents, short sections where you have to carry your bike, and around 6 km of trail to Griosch provide a real trail experience, before the route continues via Hof Zuort and Val Sinestra to Sent/Scuol.

Scuol – Piz Clünas – Scuol Stage 2

Duration: 5.5h Distance: 29.3km

Those who aren’t put off by the climb will be rewarded: the route from Motta Naluns up to Piz Clünas offers panoramic views, challenging descents and a flow trail with a technical twist. The route continues through the rugged Val Tasna along alpine trails to Ftan, then down to the Inn via hidden, sometimes tricky paths.

Scuol – Val Müstair Stage 3

Duration: 7:15h Distance: 49.2km

A classic route from Scuol to Val S-charl, with a hidden gem through Valbella: after a short section where you’ll need to carry your bike to Fuorcla Funtana da S-charl, you’ll be rewarded with stunning natural trails, sweeping views and a smooth, flowing finish through the forests of Val Müstair.
