A portrait of singer and actress Marianne Faithfull (1946-2025) that breaks with the classic documentary form: two employees of a fictitious "Ministry of Non-Forging" take up their work using the example of British singer and actress Marianne Faithfull (1946-2025). Faithfull herself took part in the film shortly before her death and commented on the interwoven archive material with personal memories and assessments. This moving and multi-faceted homage playfully explores the relationship between truth, memory and pop culture myths. It is a reflection on how life stories can be cinematically processed beyond the compilation of available archive and factual material.
