Creativity - A day at the mountain hut Chant Sura

Workshop: Burning charcoal pencils and guided tour of the museum Under the guidance of the artist Iris Riatsch from Vnà, charcoal pencils will be burned at the barbecue area in the morning. The self-made charcoal pencils can then be used to paint collected stones from the Val S-charl. This creates uniquely decorated stones that the participants can take home with them. In the afternoon, there will be a guided tour of the Schmelzra Museum. There you can see how miners have mined ore by hand in Val S-charl for 300 years. Participants will learn a lot about the use of wood and the smelting of ore to extract silver and lead. A traditional simple field meal is prepared together and then the fire is used to burn charcoal sticks. If you want, you can try out your self-made charcoal pencils right away. This creates unique works of art that participants can take home with them.
