ENsemble is a formation of 15 amateur singers from the Engadine, which was formed in autumn 2023. The passion for a cappella singing, the personal commitment to a beautiful sound and the will to work on one's own voice are the main elements that unite the singers of this choir. The ensemble is led in a fresh and sensitive way by the young musician Miriam Brang.
After the successful concerts of 2024 and 2025, the ENsemble is pleased to perform in public again with a colorful program of a cappella singing. The theme of the singing project 2026 is "flowers". The concerts offer a bouquet of songs that deal with flowers, blooming and blossoming.
The flower is often a symbolic element in love songs, especially from the Romantic era. Some "pearls" from this era by Joseph Rheinberger, Franz Schubert and Anton Bruckner are presented. In addition, madrigals from the late Renaissance (Maddalena Casulana, John Wilbye) as well as songs by well-known composers from the present day, including Philip Stopford, Peter Appenzeller and Marco Maiero, will be sung.
