Freilichtzeichnen

In this three-day workshop, we’ll explore breathtaking scenery through art. In a small group of no more than six people, we’ll focus on what lies right before us. Along the way, we’ll address questions such as: How do I find my subject? How do I simplify complex shapes? How do I create a sense of depth?

Drawing on insights from traditional painting and the theory of perception, we’ll record our observations in our sketchbooks. We’ll stay overnight and eat at the cozy Linardhütte SAC, which offers a space for sharing ideas and inspiring conversations. Whether painting or drawing—the focus is on observing together under the open sky.

Notes:
- Participants should bring their own outdoor art supplies (individual supplies available upon request)
- Accommodations and half-board are not included in the price (CHF 130.00 for SAC members, CHF 152.00 for non-members)
- The course instructor will handle the hut reservation
