What is lime and what can you do with it? What significance does lime have for the built village? What does lime have to do with our architectural heritage? This educational offer enables participants to perceive, analyze, question and immerse themselves in the cosmos of limestone in a playful and practical way with our expert. The participants experience an awareness of the limestone culture in the valleys of the Lower Engadine. The focus of the offer is to work with local materials, i.e. sand, lime and stone pigments from the surrounding area. Program: Search for examples of sgraffito in the village, get to know the different techniques and symbols, visit a lime kiln, immerse yourself in the ancient knowledge of lime production, design and create your own sgraffito / fresco on a sample board prepared with lime plaster.
