This special concert, conducted by acclaimed saxophonist Tommaso Starace, takes the audience on a journey through some of the most legendary compositions by musicians who have marked the history of their genre: from Astor Piazzolla and tango music, to Ennio Morricone, the king of melody and outstanding soundtrack composer, to Michel Petrucci, the spirited and romantic jazz pianist, and Charlie Parker, the master of the alto saxophone. Tommaso is accompanied by Fausto Beccalossi on accordion, Terence Collie on piano and Marco Giannotti on bass. Together, the group presents iconic pieces of music – from famous soundtracks to established jazz compositions – and takes you into the world of tango in Buenos Aires.
