Konzert in der Kirche | UN VIAGGIO NELLA MUSICA ITALIANA PER QUARTETTO DI FLAUTI

Description

Miriam Cipriani – flute
Giulio Bongiascia – alto flute
Ivan Rondano – bass flute
Flaviano Rossi – flute and piccolo

A journey through Italian music – from the Baroque to the great opera tradition to the film scores that have made Italian cinema world famous. The arrangements for flute quartet bring out the colours, lightness and cantabile nature of this music.

Stirring music from Vivaldi to Mascagni and from Rota to Morricone ...

The ensemble, Miriam Cipriani, Giulio Bongiascia, Ivan Rondano and Flaviano Rossi, was formed at the beginning of 2014 from the successful ten years of international experience of the flute quartet "Aulos", which was founded in 1994 by Professor Giuseppe Montrucchio with three of the current members.

All musicians have solid experience with chamber music and orchestras from classical to Beatles – performed in the most important Italian musical theatres, including with the Teatro alla Scala Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Italian Radio RAI, the Symphony Orchestra of La Scala in Milan, the Orchestra of the Italian Philharmonic, with the Milan Chamber Music Ensemble, the Baroqu'Ensemble, the Santa Cecilia Symphony Orchestra in Rome, the Milan Symphony Orchestra Giuseppe Verdi, the Milan orchestra "Pomeriggi Musicali" – and gained experience with renowned musicians such as Abbado, Sinopoli, Giulini, Muti, Chailly, Santi, Maazel, Vedernicov, Sado and Renzetti. Her experience was supplemented with recordings for Amadeus, ARTS, BMG and DECCA.

Her passion for exploring new color tones and rhythms led to the collaboration with pianist and composer Stefano Sposetti for the arrangements of pop music pieces with all flutes, from bass to piccolo.

After the concert, the KulturBus will take you free of charge to Scuol, Ftan, Ardez and Tarasp. Register at the box office.
