Musik & Kulinarik in der Fuschina da Guarda

On June 13, 2026, a special evening for all the senses awaits you at the Fuschina da Guarda. The event begins at 6:00 p.m. with an aperitif, followed by a fine 4-course menu, accompanied by live music throughout the evening.
Between the individual courses, a string quartet with selected works provides atmospheric musical moments. The menu is uniformly put together for all guests (with vegetarian or meat option) and accompanied by matching wines.

As part of the Scuol Classics festival, the String Quartet No. 2, composed of the Golden Gate Symphony Orchestra & Chorus, presents a varied program with violin 1 & 2, viola & cello.
Program
The Concerto for String Quartet leads through different musical worlds in three varied parts. The prelude is classical chamber music with works by Antonín Dvořák, Felix Mendelssohn and Edvard Grieg - characterized by lyrical melodies and lively expression.
In the second part, alpine folk tunes are heard in an atmospheric arrangement: The Engadin Folk Suite combines traditional pieces "Ranz des Vaches" into a sonorous journey through the mountains.
At the end, it will be entertaining and world-famous: Melodies from The Sound of Music by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II as well as "Tonight" from West Side Story by Leonard Bernstein provide a lively and emotional finale.
