Action and impressions: Pictures and highlights from the VISA FIS Snowboard World Cup Scuol 2026
The snowboard alpine elite competed for World Cup points at the 9th VISA FIS Snowboard World Cup in Scuol. On the spectacular slope at Prui, the pros put on a thrilling show, with Ramona Hofmeister (GER) and Roland Fischnaller (ITA) coming out on top.
From a Swiss perspective, the preliminary rounds were already decisive. Julie Zogg fell shortly before the finish line and ended up in tenth place. Flurina Bätschi fell twice during her run and finished in thirteenth place.
In the men's competition, the two Swiss finalists, Dario Caviezel from Graubünden and Gian Casanova from Walenstadt, faced each other in the round of 16. The experienced Caviezel won by twenty-six hundredths of a second. His journey came to an end in the quarterfinals. He was eliminated by the eventual winner Fischnaller and finished fifth. Casanova finished the race in Scuol in 13th place.
