Anyone who reaches Piz Clünas is rewarded with a panorama that extends far beyond the borders of the Lower Engadine. Together with glaciologist Dr. Felix Keller, we discover how mountain formation, ice ages and landscape development have shaped the sun terrace of Ftan and the impressive mountain world of the Engadine.
As we hike through the alpine landscape, new views of the Lower Engadine Dolomites, the Bernina massif, the Ortler Group and the Ötztal Alps open up again and again. Exciting stories about glaciers, primeval seas and even dinosaurs make the landscape appear in a whole new light.
