Description
This exciting descent of over 1,000 meters in altitude on challenging singletrails is especially suitable for freeriders in combination with the mountain railway ascent. After the scenic and open terrain between Motta Naluns and Ftan Pitschen, the narrow, challenging and little-used descent from Ftan via Baraigla to Nairs awaits, a secret tip for trail enthusiasts.

Westwards over open terrain to Ftan Pitschen

Back towards Scuol to the old spa building
Turn right towards Scuol
Follow the path to the junction with the main road
Turn towards Scuol-Tarasp train station

Public Transport
- By the Rhaetian Railway (from Chur, Landquart/Prättigau or from Upper Engadin) hourly to Scuol-Tarasp station
- By PostBus (from Martina, Sent, Ftan or Tarasp) hourly to Scuol-Tarasp station
The Motta Naluns mountain railways are 100 m east of the station.
Arrival information
- From the north: via Landquart – Klosters by car shuttle through the Vereina tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) or via the Flüela pass into Lower Engadin on H27
- From the east: via Landeck / Austria towards St. Moritz on H27
- From the south: via Reschen pass (Nauders-Martina) or Ofen pass (Val Müstair-Zernez) on H27
Scuol is located directly on the Engadin road H27 (20 minutes drive from Vereina south portal)
