Description

From the PostBus stop Ftan, cumün about 300 m towards the western village exit, near Kinderland Sainas is the trail entrance. On initially flat terrain, the parking lot at the height of Hotel Paradies is reached. After crossing the street, the actual Alpine Institute Ftan trail begins. The trail leads a short way into the forest. Over several steps, the route quickly gains height and reaches the Alpine Institute Ftan. On the high plateau, you can truly enjoy the winter landscape in the picturesque surroundings. Although the nearly 100 meters of elevation gain may seem daunting at first glance, the trail is a beautiful winter experience for skating and classic cross-country skiing.

As a small loop, this trail is also available as a night trail. The light switch for the night trail is at the wooden hut near the parking lot (towards Ardez). After switching it on, the light stays on for one hour and then automatically turns off.

Remark
Connection to and from the night trail closed (no maintenance possible)
