Description
Below the mighty Piz Buin, the route starts towards the picturesque Lai Blau (2,613 m a.s.l), where a short break is already worthwhile. Along the western flank you reach Alp Sura, which offers the ideal view for a short lunch break. Above the tree line with a magnificent view of the Lower Engadin and the unique villages, you hike via the hamlet of Munt d’Ardez to Ardez, the second stage destination.
Easier alternative
Downhill along the forest road you reach Guarda, from here an easy road leads to Ardez.

Ardez with the Steinsberg ruins offers an impressive view over the entire Lower Engadin. The various cafés and restaurants in Ardez offer different local specialties.

Directions
The hike starts from Chamonna Tuoi CAS with an ascent to Lai Blau. Below Piz Cotschen, you continue hiking to Alp Sura. At Alp Sura above the tree line, continue hiking to Murtera Dadoura. Here begins the long descent via the hamlet of Munt d’Ardez to Ardez.
