Description
The pass height (Süsom Givè) offers a wide view with a lookout over Val Müstair. This route also offers a lot in a (cultural) historical sense. The «Minieras da Fiern» at Munt Buffalora on the way to Munt la Schera tell of the past mining era between the 14th and 18th centuries. Where the plant life becomes sparser and individual pines and larches emerge from alpine flower meadows and between rocky boulders. From now on the path leads through the National Park.
Highlights:
- The Munt la Schera is a border summit between the cantons of Graubünden and Lombardy. The mountain is very popular with hikers and offers spectacular views of the surroundings.
