Description
From the PostAuto stop Ftan, cumün, towards the western village exit, the trail entrance is located by the wooden hut right at the parking lot. This round is the shortened variant of the Hochalpines Institut Ftan trail, but this does not reduce the skiing pleasure. The short round still has its own charm and is also technically impeccable. It is especially popular among locals.
Important: The light switch for the night trail is located at the wooden hut by the parking lot (direction Ardez). After switching on, the light stays on for one hour and then automatically turns off.

- By the Rhaetian Railway (from Chur, Prättigau or Upper Engadin) or by PostAuto (from Martina, Sent or Tarasp) hourly to Scuol-Tarasp station.

Arrival information
- From the north: via Landquart – Klosters by car shuttle through the Vereina tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) or over the Flüela pass to Lower Engadin on H27
- From the east: via Landeck / Austria towards St. Moritz on H27
- From the south: via Reschen pass (Nauders-Martina) or Ofen pass (Val Müstair-Zernez) on H27
Ftan can be reached from the Engadin road H27 from Ardez or from the western end of the village of Scuol in 10 minutes by car (25 minutes driving time from Vereina south portal)
