Directions

From Tarasp Fontana, the hike leads over Fontana Sura to the entrance of Val Zuort. It then continues towards Resgia Plavna, which can be reached through dense forest from Godplan in half an hour. At the dwarf playground Ils set nanins by the old sawmill, the route crosses the stream Aua da Plavna with a subsequent ascent to Alp Laisch, which is staffed during summer and offers tours of the alpine cheese dairy. The now following steep climb through the Vals Arsas forest is fortunately shaded. At the fork, turn left towards Motta Jüda at the foot of Crap Putèr. The hill is climbed in a clockwise direction from the tree line. With the majestic Lower Engadin Dolomites (Piz Pisoc, Piz Zuort, Sesvenna group) and the wide Val Plavna at your back, you get a view over the Lower Engadin villages from Lavin to Sent. Above them rise Piz Linard, Piz Buin and the southern foothills of the Silvretta. The descent takes the same path down to the tree line. Here turn left and after the saddle between Crap Putèr and il Clauter, follow the descent with several hairpin bends to the stream Aua da Sampuoir. From the bridge, the path follows the valley floor to the connecting road between Sur En and Ardez. This leads, crossing the Inn, to Ardez station.

Alternative:
Simply take the same path back to Tarasp.
