Hank Thomas (Austin Butler) was a baseball prodigy in high school. Now he can no longer play, but otherwise his life is okay. He has a great girlfriend (Zoë Kravitz), is a bartender in a New York pub and his favorite team is fighting for the title as underdogs. When his punk rock neighbor Russ (Matt Smith) asks him to look after his cat for a few days, Hank suddenly finds himself surrounded by a motley crew of menacing gangsters.
