Vnà is located at 1630 m above sea level. An original Engadine mountain farming village with 60 inhabitants located on the sunny southern slope high above the Inn. Since the village was not destroyed by fire, most of the houses date from the 16th century. The small but fine village museum testifies to how the ancestors mainly practiced agriculture, also interesting contemporary documents remind of famous poets, painters and composers from the village. In summer there are numerous hiking opportunities, our surroundings are known for many rare species of flowers and game viewing. In winter, a cross-country ski run, several magnificent winter hiking trails and a toboggan run are available. The ski area and the well-known Bad Scuol are 12 km away, Ischgl-Samnaun 30 km. Vnà has good postbus connections, unfortunately no grocery store for several years. In Ramosch, 4 km away, there is a bakery with specialties and groceries.
