Forum Aua Forta – Scuol Water Days and Gir d'AIR

On the first evening, starting at 6:40 p.m., let yourself be inspired by fascinating discussions about the importance of mineral water for the Engadin; discover the hidden world beneath the water’s surface, learn more about biodiversity and climate change, and follow the water’s journey into the world of art at the Kulturraum Bogn Engiadina. As twilight sets in, the night walk reveals another facet: water and darkness. Sounds, silence, and light allow you to experience the landscape in a completely new way. Optional aperitif starting around 8:00 p.m. Also optional starting around 8:45 p.m.: Guided night walk “Water and Darkness” for CHF 15 per person. Registration is required.

On the second day, starting at 1:00 p.m., Nairs becomes a meeting place and water center. Stories about the Inn River, artistic interventions, performances, and encounters along the Inn and at the Büvetta, as well as at the Fundaziun Nairs, demonstrate how closely water is linked to culture, community, and identity. As part of the Forum Aua Forta, Patrizia Vitali invites you to “üna büvetta”—Liquid Landscape and Mineral Narratives at the Fundaziun Nairs and the Scuol Palace. Registration for the guided tour is required and subject to a fee (CHF 10.00 per person).

To round off the forum, the fountain bath at Bügl Plaz will take place until 8:00 p.m., and the Gir d’AIR at the Fundaziun Nairs will run from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Bügl open to the public starting at 3:00 p.m.:
Enjoy a soothing warm bath in the mineral water spring and experience wellness, tradition, and camaraderie in the historic village center of Scuol.

GIR D’AIR starting at 6:00 p.m.:
The current residents—artists, writers, and musicians—will open their studios and offer insights into their creative processes and current work. The tour will be led by staff from the Fundaziun Nairs and begins in the foyer. You’re welcome to join the tour at any time.
