With its pyramid-shaped appearance, Piz Linard is the highest mountain in the Lower Engadine.

From Lavin we climb the small but very cozy Chamonna Linard. In the morning we hike across pastures towards the summit. At the foot of the mountain, we reach Piz Linard through the south face over rock ledges and easy climbing. The descent is via the same path back to the hut and on to Lavin.
