This trail is a part of the «Loipa dal Sulagl» (translated: Sonnenloipe) and lives up to its name, as it lies on the sunny side of the Engadin. From Cinuos-chel, which belongs to the Upper Engadin, the route climbs amid the Bernina group until it passes the Lower Engadin village Brail, reached via a rapid descent. In the Val Punt Ota, the border between Upper and Lower Engadin is crossed.
