Description
The cable car comfortably takes cyclists from Scuol to Motta Naluns at 2156 meters. From the south-facing viewing terrace, there is a magnificent view of Tarasp and the opposite Engadine Dolomites. Immediately follows the first steep descent. It leads down a trail specially built for cyclists to Salez. This is followed by a short uphill on a field path to Natéas. Here awaits the next varied descent: on single trails down to Nischöl and over Clarai through the forest to the well-known High Alpine Institute Ftan. Through the village center in Ftan Grond and further to the district Pitschen, one soon reaches broad, traffic-free paths. Cyclists enjoy a beautiful view over Scuol to Piz San Jon and Piz Lischana as well as over Tarasp Castle to the distinctive Piz Pisoc, the highest point of the Swiss National Park. At the end of the descent, you arrive again at the valley station of the cable cars and the station in Scuol.
