MOLA - A Tibetan story of love and loss - is a documentary about the Tibetan nun Kunsang Wangmo, known as "Mola" (grandmother). She fled Tibet in 1959 and has lived in Switzerland ever since. Shortly before her 100th birthday, her greatest wish is to return to Tibet to die, but this is complicated. The director Yangzom Brauen is her granddaughter and made the film together with her father Martin Brauen, who accompanies her grandmother on her journey.
