Dwarf Festival 2025

On Saturday, June 7, 2025, the 7 Dwarfs will organize the first Dwarf Festival (Festival dals Nanins) in Scuol. This festival is intended to be a special music festival for smaller music formations and associations. The aim of this festival is to bring together different formations from the border triangle, to enjoy the get-together and to listen to great music.

The dwarf festival in the marquee in Gurlaina/Scuol begins on Saturday, at 11.00 a.m., and lasts into the night. A dozen music associations and formations will take part. Each group plays between 30 and 45 minutes, between the individual acts there is a break of about 15 minutes to set up the stage. In the evening there are two concerts by more well-known formations, which have already performed at the Woodstock of brass music in Austria.

The following formations will take part in the first dwarf festival in Scuol: FIHUSPA (Fidele Humpa Spatzen / Vice Swiss Champion 2024 in the brass band top class); Oberwind from South Tyrol, Alpina Quintet, Blazenka brass band, 1 Prosit from Tschlin, Ils 7 Nanins, Grenzenlos, Rümli Gäng, For-Bäm, Ftan Brass as well as the music societies Ardez, Tarasp, Susch and Aurora Sta. Maria/Valchava.

The drawings for the Dwarf Festival 2025 are by the well-known Engadine illustrator Pia Valär.
