Exhibition: Tschel tschêl or The Other Sky

Beatrice Calzaferri, pastel chalk paintings:
Ilanz, Danis and Chur were my stations in Graubünden, and since 1995 I have lived in the canton of Schaffhausen.
Inspired by the landscapes of the Luberon.
Rocks in ochre tones from light yellow to brown red, in light and shadow, surrounded by greenest green, covered by bluest blue.
For over 20 years, these colors have not let me go.
The chalks have become a game between fingers and paper.
I immerse myself in the pastels – let myself drift and see where the journey takes me.

Gian Gianotti, Oil Pictures:
Theatre director from Bregaglia, with roots in Sent.
After my theatre life as a director, with many people, in various technical fields and connected with language and literature, I am now mainly involved in painting, in search of abstraction.
These 'stagings' on the screen are more personal. As impressions, they seek tension in peace and balance. I paint on canvas, mostly in oil, with a preference for the golden ratio and concentrate on color spaces.
