The 9th general assembly of the association Pro Büvetta Tarasp will take place on 26 March 2021 as announced. Due to the cancellation of the event «Aua Forta – Water Days Engadin Scuol», the AGM will now be held online and exclusively for members.
The 8th AGM of the association Pro Büvetta Tarasp took place differently for once due to the current distance rules. The members were able to comment on the agenda items in advance. The board of the association met virtually and was able to go through the agenda quickly with the results already available.
The ongoing work, including financing, is to be continued purposefully, which is why Pro Büvetta Tarasp has engaged the project manager Christian Müller. He is an architect and well-known in the Lower Engadin as president of the Piz Amalia Music Festival.
As part of the 650th anniversary «Experience Mineral Water», it was possible to implement the poster exhibition «From the History of Spa Tourism», which shows old advertising posters from the first half of the 20th century. The advertising was aimed at attracting new spa guests from all over the world. In addition to the posters, there are photos and exhibits of the «Büvetta Tarasp» drinking hall – the place that stands for the beginning of spa tourism in the Lower Engadin – all around and up to the area of the ticket offices.
The Büvetta Tarasp was once again allowed to be part of a documentary. The series «Swiss River Stories – On the Inn» by 3sat stopped in Nairs and visited the drinking hall. Sabina Streiter, water expert and provider of spring hikes, and Claudia Vontobel, one of the first water sommeliers in Switzerland, were also present.
