Musical Whitsun in Ftan

The highlight is the festive Whitsun concert on Saturday, 7 June, at 8.00 pm. The programme features Ukrainian folk and popular music, presented by the internationally renowned musician Yuliia Shevchenko, who touches the audience with her singing and the traditional string instrument bandura. In the second part of the concert, Ruslan Shevchenko brings works from the Baroque to the Romantic period to life with virtuosic ease on the button accordion. Admission to the concert is free, voluntary donations in the form of a collection are welcome. The music parlour follows on Sunday at 5.00 pm - an open, musical interplay with Yuliia Shevchenko. Not only listeners are welcome here, but also spontaneous musicians who would like to take part in making music together.
