Talkie Walkie #2: An das Wilde glauben

Winter hike, collective reading and discussion on passages from Nastassja Martin's story "Believing in the Wild" (2019). With Ruth Amstutz, Josiane Imhasly, Lika Nüssli and Larissa Tiki Mbassi. Easy hike, approx. 3 hours, followed by a visit to the exhibition at the Fundaziun Nairs and tea and cake. The text does not have to be read in advance.
Martin's story was a central starting point of the exhibition "mit träumen". Topics such as the interactions between dream and reality, contact with animals and other beings through dreams as well as states of uncertainty and transition and possible dealings or rituals with them are at the center of the reading.
The Talkie Walkie Collective was born in 2023 from a residency on the Furka Pass. Since then, Ruth Amstutz, Josiane Imhasly, Lika Nüssli and Larissa Tiki Mbassi have continued their conversations, readings and walks as a shared artistic-curatorial practice, inviting a wide audience to accompany and participate in them. It explores how the interactions of hiking, reading aloud, listening, speaking and feeling open up new approaches to thinking and perceiving. The name alludes to the radio – as a symbol for the exchange in motion and for shifts in meaning that arise during translation.
