Punt la Drossa – Il Fuorn: The connecting route

A short but beautiful hike along the Fuornbach, which flows wild and untamed through its self-created canyon. Thanks to this connecting route, various hikes in the region can be combined without having to walk on the road. In addition to the beautiful stream, the view of the imposing pyramid of Piz dal Fuorn is also tempting.

The hiking route leads from the Punt la Drossa customs house and the post bus stop of the same name (1711 m above sea level) past car park 5 to the Hotel Parc Naziunal Il Fuorn. Most of the way is walked by hikers who have hiked from Il Fuorn to Alp la Schera and return via Punt la Drossa (see route "Alp la Schera"). The route thus offers a good opportunity to get back to the starting point without having to walk on the road. Although the path always runs close to the pass road, the roar of the Fuornbach is usually able to drown out the traffic. From Punt la Drossa, the route always follows the Ova dal Fuorn, with a beautiful view of the ponderous pyramid of Piz dal Fuorn. Past the junction of the Ova da Val Ftur, the path runs to the post bus stop Il Fuorn (P6) (1794 m above sea level), where the sun terrace of the Hotel Parc Naziunal Il Fuorn invites you to linger.
