Description

The JST starts at Engadin Adventure at the valley station of the Scuol mountain railroads. The tour leads through Scuol until you cross the Gurlaina bridge. The path now climbs and leads through the forest to Vulpera. The path opens up and you ride along colorful meadows to Lai Nair.

There is a very narrow footbridge at Lai Nair. A steady hand on the joystick is required here!

Directions

From the Motta Naluns valley station through Scuol over the Gurlaina bridge

Forest road in the direction of Vulpera

Hiking trail towards Tarasp Fontana as far as a large antenna

Continue towards Avrona on forest road

Turn onto the hiking trail towards Lai Nair

Public Transport

  • With the Rhaetian Railway (from Chur, Prättigau or Upper Engadine) or with the PostBus (from Martina, Sent or Tarasp) hourly to Scuol-Tarasp station

  • Paved connection to the Engadin Adventure at the Motta Naluns valley station. (small ramp with 10% gradient)

Arrival information

  • From the north: via Landquart - Klosters by car transport through the Vereina Tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) or via the Flüela Pass to the Lower Engadine on H27

  • From the east: via Landeck / Austria in the direction of St. Moritz on H27

  • From the south: via Reschenpass (Nauders-Martina) or Ofenpass (Val Müstair-Zernez) on H27
