Alpine Forest Bathing
Gesundheitswälder im Engadin, ©Dominik Täuber
On a walk through the Alpine countryside lasting around two hours, you’ll take time to observe, breathe, move and marvel. Accompanied by mindfulness exercises, small sensory experiences and a guided nature meditation, you’ll discover the forest with fresh eyes.
Slower pace, less stress.
A short break with a big effect.
Forest bathing – known in Japan as Shirin Yoku – is used as a form of preventative healthcare and can promote personal wellbeing. Spending time in nature in a mindful way, gentle exercise and specific breathing and awareness exercises can help to reduce stress and promote a sense of calm.
