The second stage of route 443 leads through the spectacular gorge of "il Quar" in Val d'Uina.

Description
This stage starts in the Engadin village of Sent. The highlight of the route is the impressive Uina Gorge with the spectacular rock path. But be careful: for safety reasons, on this short section through the rocks, you have to get off and push your bike.
At Schlinig Pass you then cross the Italian border and are rewarded with a long descent through the Schlinig Valley.
Mandatory push section:
The route has been rated for good weather conditions; current weather conditions and forecasts must be strictly observed before starting. This tour requires a high level of riding safety, balance, and technical skill. The section at the rock path "il Quar" is a mandatory push section. The narrow trail in this area is unsecured and does not allow riding!

The Val d'Uina is a spectacular rocky gorge in the Lower Engadin and also served as a filming location for the Schellen-Ursli film.

Grisons mountain bike routes mostly run on single trails which are also marked as hiking trails. Hikers generally have the right of way.

- By PostAuto (from Martina, Ftan or Tarasp) hourly to Scuol-Tarasp station
- Continue by PostAuto to the PostAuto stop Sent, Plaz
Arrival information
- From the north: via Landquart – Klosters by car shuttle through the Vereina tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) or via Flüela Pass into the Lower Engadin on H27
- From the east: via Landeck / Austria towards St. Moritz on H27
- From the south: via Reschen Pass (Nauders-Martina) or Ofen Pass (Val Müstair-Zernez) on H27
- Sent can be reached in five minutes from the Engadin road H27 at Scuol as well as Sur En (25 minutes driving time from Vereina south portal)
