Description

From the postbus stop Vna, Jalmér, the village is walked through and left on the forest road in the direction of Val Sinestra. After about one kilometer, the forest road branches off to the right. On an alpine road, the trail leads through the forest up to Alp Pradatsch. After the alp, the forest clears slowly, the path branches off after about 300m to the right and then rises quickly. Always along the flat ridge, the path leads upwards over the pastures. The summit becomes visible only shortly before the finish, where the path winds through the rocks of the summit structure. Thanks to the upstream and free-standing location, one enjoys from the summit a magnificent panoramic view over the peaks and side valleys of the Lower Engadine. The way back begins on the ridge in a northerly direction, the pyramid-shaped three-thousand-metre Muttler in view. After about 600m the path branches off at the Fuorcla Pradatsch to the right. Over open meadows, the trail now leads downhill to Marangun, which is slightly elevated on the right side of the valley section. From Marangun you reach Alp Discholas following the Alpine road. For the way back to Vna, follow the Alpine road and leave after about one kilometer on the left on a footpath and finally reach a forest path further down, which takes you directly back to the starting point of Vna.
