Description

At the edge of the village of Guarda a path leads up into Val Tuoi. At the first crossroads the path turns right. Attention: you may cross sledgers here! When you reach the edge of the forest, the middle path leads north to "Plan dal Növ", where the toboggan run begins. The ascent takes about 40 minutes. When you reach the edge of the forest, the path turns right. The toboggan run begins steeply with a sharp right turn and then leads through the forest in several short, tight turns. At the end of the forest the path again becomes a little flatter and offers beautiful views of the Schellen-Ursli village. In Guarda itself, a tour of the village is recommended. Refreshment stops are also available. Special attention should be paid to the game rest area, where the start of the sledge run is located. You are not permitted to sledge or walk above the official entry point.

Geheimtipp

As an alternative, you can sledge from the starting point on the ascent path to Guarda (caution: pedestrians).

The toboggan run is also the Schellen-Ursli winter trail, and at Plan dal Növ there is a Maiensäss where you can read the Schellen-Ursli story.

Sicherheitshinweis
