Scuol - Schellenursli-Runde

The Schellen Ursli Circuit is an enjoyable gravel tour through the picture-book landscape of the Lower Engadine - full of nature, culture and quiet paths. The starting point is Scuol, from where the route leads gently uphill through the shady God da Res towards Ftan. Soon the view opens up to the typical Engadine terraced landscape around Ardez and the fairytale-like preserved Guarda - known as the home of Schellen Ursli.

Below the village, the Inn is crossed for the first time before the route leads through the idyllic summer settlement of Sur Enn - a quiet, almost hidden place in the middle of the countryside. After a second river crossing, there is another scenic climb back to Ardez and Ftan.

The return journey to Scuol is relaxed and full of panoramas. The tour remains consistently off the main road and mainly uses well-rolling nature and field paths. In the spirit of the gravel idea: fun begins where the asphalt ends. A varied circuit that harmoniously combines scenic beauty, Engadine village culture and real driving pleasure.
